Thank You

The Lincoln Auction committee, parents, guardians, teachers, and students would like to thank all the businesses, merchants, families, and individuals who are helping make our fall 2010 auction a success.  Also, thanks to all who have who helped us with past auctions.  Your willingness to donate items, help with publicity, volunteer your time, and/or provide other special services is greatly appreciated.  Your support of education does make a difference!

The following is a list of many of our auction supporters.  Please keep the thoughtfulness of these businesses in mind when shopping and looking for services.

Auction & Carnival 2009 - Blending the Old With the New

This year’s Auction and Carnival blends a little bit of the traditional and a little bit of the new.

The tradition continues with our Silent Auction rooms that open at 12:00 noon. Bidding on the Silent Auction items begin at 12:00 noon until the room is closed. Rooms will be closed one at a time so that you have a chance to bid on as many items in different rooms as you would like.

The Live Auction starts at 3:30 PM in the gym. The Live Auction items are displayed in the stage area of the gym; these are available for viewing throughout the day.

And for the new – The Carnival!  There are exciting Carnival activities located throughout the school and out on the blacktop. Carnival Prizes can be claimed at the Redemption Center between 12:30 and 3:30pm.

The Bake Sale is also available for your purchase of tasty treats and savory snacks.

The Bank is located in the library at the front of the school.

  • To bid on Auction items, you will need to obtain a bidding number from the Bank.
  • Tickets are required to play all Carnival games.  Tickets may be purchased at the Bank.  Tickets cost 25 cents each.  The number of tickets needed for each game is listed on the Map and the Event Guide in the catalog.  If you have an Auction Bidder number, additional tickets can also be purchased at the ticket booth near the front office.
  • You may pay for your Auction purchases in the Bank beginning at 3:30 PM.  We will accept the following forms of payment: cash, check and credit card (MasterCard and Visa only).  Keep in mind that using cash or check saves Lincoln the cost of credit card transaction fees.

A donation box for those individuals who wish to support Lincoln with a cash donation is also available in the Bank

We are proud of the items and services that we have received from the many businesses, Lincoln families, and Lincoln staff. Every effort was made to fully describe the terms, conditions, values, and expiration dates of the items in the catalog. We are confident that you will be pleased with anything that you purchase; however, if a problem does arise, please do not contact the donor -- contact a member of the Auction/Carnival Committee or leave a message at the school, and we will be happy to help resolve any problem that you have.  All sales are final.

For the safety of all of our children, please see that your child or children do not wander into parts of the building that are off-limits, or onto the school grounds without proper supervision.

Please review the list of donors at the end of the catalog; without these generous contributions, the Lincoln Auction and Carnival would not be possible.  Please acknowledge the donors and thank them for supporting Lincoln K-8 Choice School whenever you have the opportunity.

Thank you for attending the 2008 Lincoln Choice School Auction and Carnival. We appreciate your support!
